Because The London Improv Festival is all about community, there will be free community events throughout the festival. These will be opportunities for people from around the world to connect, share their skills and celebrate their love of improv. There’s no need to book for the free community events, just come along!

Panel: Setting up and Running an Indie Team
Friday 22nd May 11.30-12.30pm
Marco (Burn the Script) and Yoshina (Ooh La La) will chat about their experiences setting up and running super successful, award winning Indie Improv Teams. This will be a very relaxed session so there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get into the nitty gritty of running a team.

Coaches Skill Share
Friday 22nd May 2-4pm
All improv coaches - new and experienced - are invited to come along, share exercises, chat about challenges and discuss ways we can all improve our improv coaching. Lelda Kapsis (Festival Director) and Devon Henderson (Second City alum) will lead this interactive and engaging session.

Stay late and have a jam!! Everyone is welcome!! It’s free and we’ll make sure everyone has the opportunity to play!

Panel: Developing New Improv Shows
Saturday 23rd May 10.30-11.30pm
Join Karolina (Stella) and Kim (A Curious Demise) as they discuss the ways they’ve developed new improv shows - what worked, what didn’t, what was fun and what drove them bonkers!! Come along ready to ask the questions you’re faced with during your development process!

Panel: Improv and Social Media
Saturday 23rd May 12nn - 1pm
Liberty (Pretty Little Improvisers) and Paul are both improvisers and highly recognised Social Media creators. They will be discussing the ways they create content, how they use social media with their improv and how improv helps their social media. We might even get into how effective or important social media is when it comes to promoting shows!

Treasure Hunt
Sunday 24th May 1.30-3pm
This is the London part of The London Improv Festival. With so many visiting artists, we want to make sure they have the opportunity to see some of the sights London has to offer… and being improvisers we need to gather in teams and turn sight seeing into a game!!

Afternoon Tea and Matinee Jam
Sunday 24th May 3-4pm
After the Treasure Hunters return, we'll have the most relaxed and British Jam possible- served with scones and cream. There will be tea, cake and the chance to play. This jam will be held in the Blanche Improv rehearsal space, while the team from Bandwagon do their mega tag run experiment.

Finale Party
Sunday 24th May 9pm-ish
After the finale show, there will be a party at Blanche! We have to be mindful of our neighbours, so this will probably be the party that begins the party at a venue on the High Street.

Brunch
Monday 25th May 10am
Chat about the fun times we all had at the festival over a coffee and croissant.

Festival Bingo
Make sure you pick up your Festival Bingo Card from the Festival Hub. Anyone who completes their card will receive little goodie bag!
